We are now hiring an OEM Sales Specialist to be a part of the Laboratory Products Division (LPD) which unites deep scientific expertise, a collaborative culture and rich resources to deliver the lab equipment and consumables that our customers need to achieve their scientific goals - quickly, reliably and safely. What will you do?
As the OEM Sales Specialist, you are responsible for all area sales and promotional activity for current and potential Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) customers within the Nordics territory. This includes conducting sales meetings with customers, day-to-day selling of products, field training of distributor sales personnel as well as conveying the sales policies and marketing/promotional programs of the various marketing support organizations.
It is a field based position, the primary location in Stockholm and traveling around the Nordics.
Responsibilities:
Increase the sales volume of assigned accounts within the territory.
Locate OEM customers' goals and objectives and demonstrate products and capabilities to meet those.
Seek new customers and new applications and uses for the OEM consumables products.
Remain alert to competitive products and sales practices.
Remain aware of local market conditions, industry trends, user preferences, and to promptly report these with any recommended action.
Conduct technical seminars on a regular basis.
Provide routine feedback related to technology and customer needs to support new product development.
Manage all logistics associated with completing a successful final product installation and customer training.
Complete after sale follow-up with the customer to ensure satisfaction with our product performance. Coordinate service assistance as required.
Manage contract renewals, supplier agreements, price strategies, quality agreements and commercial initiatives to drive growth in the territory
How will you get there?
Qualifications needed to succeed in the role:
BS degree required, with studies in life science, business, or other related field strongly preferred.
Minimum of four years sales experience in science, OEM or packaging markets.
Experience in Industrial Research, OEM applications and/or IVD Diagnostic markets and B2B is preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively to accomplish assigned objectives (Around 50%, by plane and automobile).
Fluent in English, both oral and written. Swedish is also required for working in Sweden.
Good communications skills, people skills, you are professional and good in collaboration with others.
