As OEM Operations & Sales Support Manager at Ascom you are responsible to drive retention of key business and enable incremental growth by ensuring product quality and service excellence for and customer satisfaction of OEM accounts. The Role
You will provide proactive operational recommendations to the KAM, Product Management and R&D in regards to setup, structure, procedures, required capacities etc. You will discuss and align on priorities to resolve and if required escalate key concerns within the organization matrix, to ensure that all issues are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. You will proactively drive continuous improvement of sales operations, support and service delivery for the OEM accounts and program. You will improve global and regional collaboration (virtual teams with regional channel managers) and support the regions to follow global guidelines related to collaboration with the existing OEM partners.
Key Responsibilities Project execution: Liaise between R&D projects and customer release projects and ensure they are managed correctly and in-line with dead-lines and budget OEM roadmaps & product life cycle management support for the OEM portfolio and active OEM accounts Operational relationship management: On-going review of operational procedures to maximize efficiency in processes and cost reduction opportunities. Capture and drive requested product and software requirements and support KAMs in creating business cases for management decisions Commercial management support: Understanding the cost and margin history and OEM specific price development and operational activities to grow profitable business. Define new business models: HW bundles and SW packages for dedicated OEM partner OEM Partner Program: Support in defining an OEM Partner Program, incl. Partner Portal (SharePoint, eCommerce models, configuration options, e.g.) in collaboration with PM, KAM, Marketing and IT Education: Plan and coordinate customer webinars, seminars, training, events etc. Account Plans: Participate in the definition, implementation and follow-up of account plans: monthly report of operational status, e.g. ongoing projects and JIRA tickets as part of the individual Account Plans in close collaboration with the KAM Assist in preparation of MBR/QBR material/data, as well as attend regional QBRs (quarterly business review) and drive follow up actions with the organizations GTM operational management (labels, regulatory questions, shipping issues, quality issues, requirements) Maintain CRM and prepare bi-weekly forecast reporting
Competencies and Qualifications 4-7 years' experience in project management and product life cycle management roles Ability support structured partnerships by providing conductive information and relevant data Excellent analytic skills to create management reports and to track KPIs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, customers and 3rd party providers Experience and energy to work in an international, highly engaged matrix environment Experience within IT and Software sales, Medical Devices or enterprise productivity is highly valuable Be willing to travel 5%-15%
