hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Aecom Nordic AB i Solna The Next Generation Energy Global Initiative Leader (GIL), will lead a globally focused corporate Next Generation Energy Initiative to design and deliver the power to fuel a new energy future. In this role, the GIL is part of an integrated strategy and sales team guided by the Environment Business Line (EBL), and will lead pursuit strategy and capture of key opportunities that support execution of the initiative and EBL growth strategies. Reporting directly to the EBL Global Business Line Executive (GBLE), the GIL will work closely with environmental leadership across all Practice Lines to achieve top line growth targets.
The ideal candidate will have a multi-layered understanding of the energy market, with a particular specialization in major market trends including decentralization, decarbonization, sustainability and digitalization. The GIL will have extensive experience positioning and winning strategic pursuits across multiple infrastructure classes and stakeholders, including solutions delivered through public-private partnership (P3) models, that deliver growth in a disrupted market. This is a role that requires strategic vision, collaboration, and perseverance to be successful.
Primary Role: Develop and lead strategy for the initiative, collaborating across 8 global regions and 5 global business lines to identify and pursue strategic pursuits, that are critical to achieving top line organic growth.
Reporting Line: Reports to the GBLE of the EBL, including key interactions with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Regional Executives, and other Global Business Line Executives.
Key Sales Partners: Capture Managers (CMs), Major Pursuits Leads (MPLs), Client Account Managers (CAMs), Technical Practice Directors, Strategy & Sales Analysts, and marketing resources.
KPIs: Primary KPIs include meeting established key growth metrics for the Next Generation Energy Initiative, pursuit revenue targets, and capture rates.
Main Responsibilities
Identify and develop key pursuits across all geographies to significantly contribute to company revenue, with focus on net service revenue and gross margin bookings. Responsible for meeting targeted return on investments.
Leverage market expertise and professional network to identify significant growth opportunities and establish partnerships/teaming arrangements to win work.
Together with CAMs, meet with senior leaders in client organizations and develop solutions to meet their energy needs, including unsolicited proposals and innovative business models.
Work closely with CAMs, capture managers, and other resources across the organization to deliver wins. Increase win rates and create a consistent approach to capture planning across private and public sectors. Drive improved margins on pursuits to deliver key financial results.
Direct, develop, and motivate pursuit teams, enabling them to capture similar work in the future.
Lead, coach, and mentor Capture Managers, MPLs CAMs and other sales, supporting their professional development.
Engage with adjacent practices to incorporate energy innovations to drive major pursuits and develop strategic cross-selling opportunities.
Capitalize on expertise and existing professional network to elevate AECOM's market position, support key account relationships and strategic initiatives and campaigns.
Qualifications
Collaborative and effective major pursuit leader with a minimum 15 years of proven experience as a professional consulting leader in the A/E/C industry, successfully winning new business within the energy services market.
Highly visible and known professional in the industry with the ability to leverage relationships to formulate strategy, create teaming arrangements/partnerships (including with financial partners), and direct client interaction.
Minimum of 5 years experience developing and selling P3 models, including performance-based contracting, power purchase agreements and energy as a service models.
Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, including innovative technologies, tools and/or models, and financial management, including risk management in P3 models and joint venture arrangements.
Demonstrated experience presenting to CEOs and other C-suite leaders.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, or related discipline.
Must have working knowledge of applicable technical discipline(s), including microgrids, energy storage, distributed energy, demand response and demand management. Knowledge of transportation and water infrastructure classes preferred.
Strong organizational skills and results orientation with successfully achieving/exceeding sales and other financial KPIs in similarly sized organizations.
The entrepreneurial spirit and "roll up your sleeves" attitude necessary to lead and embrace the accountability and responsibility that comes with it, at every level of pursuit development and execution.
• Experience leading through influence and working collaboratively in a matrix organization. Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Ideal candidate will be located in Europe in order to expand on growth opportunities within the geography.
• Ideal candidate will have experience working across diverse teams with cross-cultural competency and/or have previous global work experience.
