• Purpose
• To make Radio SW design faster and with high quality
• To work in a globally alligned way with our common Radio SW
Definition of Done:
A documented well defined design flow with descriptions of
• Activities
• Artifacts (template and examples)
• Guidelines
• Decision points
with information to all roles associated to the "flow item", e.g:
• XFTs
• Project managers
• Quality ...
• The flow description shall simplify for the organization teams, have clear descriptions what artifacts to deliver, when and to what level of detail.
• One source of information, gather and streamline all "lazydogs"
• The flow shall start with early phases and end at GA
• The flow shall be found in the same place as other descriptions in the organisation.
• It shall be organizational agnostic
• A flow that is maintained and always updated
• Clickable links in each "square" for more details
• Shall show the flow in a modularized product
• Shall be connected to the DNEW design flow and PDU Radio processes (both ways)
• Shall relate to other Ericsson processes, e.g. Vulnerability Analysis (security), Lighthouse.
• Shall relate and refer to checkpoints (F1, F2, etc)
• Shall be connected to the HW centric design blue-print
• Shall align with agile principles
• And other ....
• During the assignment:
• Shall report weekly to a reference group
• RSW Governance responsible, SW flow governance resp, Operational
• Development in PDU Radio
• A working group of fixed members from Ericsson shall be in the team in order to provide info and do reviews.
• Lead OPOs, SP-drivers and team OPOs
• Test Managers
• Architects
• Line managers for XFTs
• Quality managers
• Project manager
• XFTs
• Progress of the work shall be visible in an updated flow in share point
• Profile
• Shall have a SW design background and working agile
• Shall have previous experience of the work described in this assignment, e.g. large agile set up, large SW organizations, Continious Integration
