hela Sverige On behalf of the client, we are looking for you who have the right qualifications, experience and personality for this assignment.We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer for this assignment.
Assignment
The client's development unit in Lund is a leader in advanced technology, focusing on software for the automotive industry, electric bicycles, and the Internet of Things. They specialize in connectivity, open source, agile development, software security, and over-the-air software updates. We are currently seeking a consultant with a strong background in Creo CAD design to join their innovative team.
Your main tasks are:
• Utilize Creo CAD for consumer product design, with a focus on plastic parts and injection moulding.
• Engage in electro-mechanical design and adhere to IPx requirements.
• Conduct design reviews, identify potential weaknesses, and provide effective solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for testing, manufacturing, and certification processes.
• Apply expertise in design for manufacturing/assembly, reliability, and FMEA.
• Utilize mechanical testing and validation tools and processes effectively.
• Provide accurate effort estimations and support project management.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and suppliers in multiple locations to ensure product integrity.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have/are:
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the area.
• Proficiency in Creo CAD design, particularly for consumer products.
• Experienced in plastic parts design and injection moulding.
• Familiarity with electro-mechanical design.
• Understanding of IPx requirements.
• Ability to support design reviews and provide viable solutions.
• Skilled in preparing technical documentation for various stages of product development.
• Knowledge in design for manufacturing/assembly, reliability, and FMEA.
• Competence in mechanical testing and validation tools and processes.
• Experience in effort estimations and project management support.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

• Flexible in adapting to changing conditions.
