Product Verification is where it all comes together in Verification and Validation of our products. Together we plan and execute all testing, verification and validation needed to secure quality and functionality of components, sub-systems and complete machines for Volvo CE. We collaborate in projects with all of Volvo CE Technology and other business units within the Volvo Group to develop our future products and offers.
As Measurement & Calibration Engineer, you will join our Maintenance & Testing Technology team in Eskilstuna. You will sit on the driving seat to implement emission related legal requirements with regards to method development, make sure requirements are fulfilled when it comes to measurements connected to engine certification testing. You are the person who analyses changes and updates in legal requirements from emission regulatory authorities, initiates and secures changes needed in methods, protocols and documentation for compliance.
In this role you are also responsible for calibration methods, evaluation, documentation and instructions for test equipment to secure measurement uncertainty and traceability. All based on ISO and Volvo internal standards.

Who are you?
If you are an experienced Measurement & Calibration engineer with a strong drive, like to have fun at work and enjoy a mix of hands-on and future development, this will be a job opportunity that fits you well. Required knowledge and experience for this position:
B.Sc or M.Sc within relevant field or comparable work experience
Strong background and proven experience and skills in measurement technique, mainly within temperature and pressure
Solid knowledge in ISO 17025 & ISO 10012
Proficient in Swedish and English, both speaking and writing
Good understanding of verification process in test rigs
Knowledge and experience in emission regulatory requirements are considered a merit
