Measurement Engineer

Working with Maintenance, Investments & Metrology means that you establish and develop relationships with test engineers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the technology within those areas. Metrology & Instrument Support is the owner of all measurement tools at R&D. Our responsibility is to ensure that our customers are equipped with right tools and supported by our high metrological expertise.The group consists of 17 engineers who works together with supporting R&D global.

As a Measurement Engineer you will build and maintain a wide personal network both within R&D as well with our suppliers. You are able to form your deliveries and to develop your own skills, both technically as well as in the area of metrology. As part of our team, you get access to long term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field, where you have a strong direct influence on customer satisfaction. Examples of development tools we work with are INCA, CAN, LIN, Flexray and Dewesoft.

Main responsibilities

• You will work closely with test engineers from Powertrain, Active Safety and Chassis and Electrics/Electronics
• Support in our own measurement tools
• Develop methods concerning our development tools
• Be a member of our own tool groups
• Share your knowledge with customers from R&D and members of the group
• Educate other test engineers within R&D

Required qualifications

• B.Sc. grade within electronics, metrology, or a similar education
• Fluent English written and spoken
• Driver's license B
• Experience of the automotive industry is an meritorious
• Experience from tools like INCA, CAN, LIN, Flexray, Dewesoft is meritorious
