What you will be doing
In this role you will work from either our office in Stockholm or Oslo and belong to our Martech Team that is organized as a part of our Loyalty department with a close collaboration alongside our marketeers. The Martech Team's objective is to ensure development and continuous use of our different platforms and systems, mainly Salesforce Marketing Cloud where most of our outgoing communication is mastered, but will also require know-how of the entire Martech landscape, ranging from various source system (booking systems, CRM, Data Warehouse) as well as front-end systems (CMS for web- and app, Customer service etc.).
You will be responsible to detect and explore what needs to be done without a stakeholder necessarily formulating a requirement. That requires a deep understanding of how the marketing process works and how it can be improved to enhance the guest experience and implement custom solutions. That includes custom journeys, email templates, automations, data extensions, and APIs. You'll also be responsible for testing, debugging, and deploying code changes, as well as maintaining data integrity, security, and performance within the platform.
The role also includes being responsible for the maintenance of the integrations in the platform where you are able to evaluate and refine the set up process.
Today we are using multiple types of systems and platforms to manage the interaction with our guests ranging from web-/app, online booking to digital marketing. All of these systems are vital components to deliver a coherent and great experience. But systems do not solve that, it is the ideas, creativity and skills of the people behind it that makes the difference. We are looking for craftsmen that have deep technical knowhow - but more than that - persons that have a creative mindset and can think of issues from a user perspective, detect issues & opportunities, generate solutions and solve them. Of course, this is never a "one man show" - we believe great outcomes are the result of good collaboration between people.
Who we think you are
We believe that you have a minimum of 5 years experience within Marketing Technology as a Martech developer. You have knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and Salesforce Cloud data structures and functionalities, including automation, data security and data management solutions.
You understand marketing automation concepts, email deliverability and best practices with the ability to write and debug complex journeys, email templates, data extensions, and APIs. You also have proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL for developing custom solutions within the platform.
In this role you will need written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. You have an interest in continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in marketing technology.
