As Marketing Manager you will;
Drive, implement and analyze marketing plans including selected corridors and with special focus on the electronic channels. Liaise with relevant people from the organization in order to define, align, execute, and follow-up on activities.
Managing the content of the transactional websites in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland to assure consistency between off- and online market communication. Understand online pricing position and make necessary recommendation to pricing strategy, identify and manage the execution of Western Union relevant online promotions. Ensure that the Western Union brand message is consistent at the point of consumer interaction (media communication and off-/online communication at POS and wu.com).
You will work closely with Operations to leverage new POS systems for customer communication. Gather in-market intelligence and contribute to the new product development process Track, evaluate and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the key marketing programs, actively cascade the learning and make recommendations for continuous improvement Competition and business intelligence - mapping of consumers/locations and micro-analysis (in-country) of consumer profile/behaviour. Use business, brand and customer performance tracking tools, to monitor performance and create reports to support the country management
Your skills;
Business and/or Commercial College Degree
Fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages
Three to five years of relevant marketing and/or sales experience (financial service/consumer service industry and/or packaged goods)
E-commerce and online business/marketing
Media communication
Third party relationship management
Budget management
Proven track record in tactical execution excellence coupled with attention to detail and follow through
Personal skills;
Ability to influence and work with people in matrix and dotted line reporting structures
Sensitivity and understanding of different ethnic groups, cultures and consumer backgrounds across several countries
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels of the organization, with consumers and agent staff at level of location
Unquestionable integrity
Good interpersonal qualities and presentation skills
Good initiative
Ability to travel intensively within the Region
