Fläkt Woods addresses the Air Comfort and Fire Safety market segments on a worldwide basis, with a focus on highly specified applications with systems and products. In order to support its strong growth objectives in the coming years, we are looking for an experienced Market leader.

You will work with end clients, designers, regulation authorities, lobbies and specialist contractors on an international basis, to develop specification based sales of Air Comfort systems.

In the role you will report to the Vice President Controls & Systems based in France. You will work closely with the Sales Units, the Product Managers to develop the system offering and deploy the strategy to achieve a profitable growth on your market.

The position will include the following tasks
• Organise segment applicative knowledge
• Define segment strategy, system portfolio and related USPs
• Business Development
• Specify functional needs for the selected systems
• Lead Market studies. Identify decision makers and related expectations
• Organise lobbying at opinion leaders / administration / rating offices / industry syndicates
• Manage partnership at operational level

The position will include extensive travelling (>50%) mainly in Europe

Experience
• You have many years of experience of working with complex contexts and understand the context of complex applications, control systems and intelligent systems.
• You could have knowledge of the HVAC market but it is not required. Most important is that you come from any industry working with consumer products and that your focus is to make your products easier to use.
• We prefer that you have experience in business where sales require specification approach at design stage.
• You have many years of experience in marketing and business development in an international environment and are used to meeting people from different cultures

You have an Engineering/Marketing Degree

• Flexibility and excellent team-working orientation
• Strong Marketing skills
• Good Technical understanding and strong analytical skills
• Strong inter-personal skills, capable of developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, design consultants, lobbyist
• Personal credibility, energy and commitment.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English is a must
• Able to contribute to the long-term development of the firm?s system approach and marketing strategies
• Have a holistic view and a conceptual thinking ? you always have the bigger picture in mind
• Able to solve problems and initiate improvements
• Ability to network in an international environment
