We are looking for Manufacturing Engineer within ME General Assembly. The team you will be a part of is responsible for all the manufacturability assessment, and improving the processes and tools around it.
Description
Your main responsibility would be for manufacturability of software download on product changes and responsible for coordinating and coordination of various activities in the projects around this area. One of the areas for this is towards the upcoming new car projects. You will deliver and secure that all the ME GA activities follow project timing in your area, both manufacturability requirement and to create ME assessment delivery.
Your role as a Manufacturing Engineer with focus on car electronics will be to lead all cross-functional activities within your area and report to our project leader within manufacturing general assembly.
The role as a Manufacturing Engineer involves:
- Preparation and process planning for software program and testing in general assembly.
- Responsible to secure so all manufacturability requirement, will be fulfilled for general assembly production before we start PPV.
- Speaking partner to our Release & Development engineers, secure all requirements will be implemented in the product documentation.
- Be the link between R&D and production in EOL and software questions
- Continuously inform and support the organization in software issues.
- Drive/be part of benchmarking, continues improvement, planning & follow up, Concept selection etc.
- Responsibility over the deliverance of manufacturing time, assembly equipment need, cost estimation and a producible product.
- Responsible to create assessment reports, quality try-out plans etc.
- Responsible for KPI:s like: FTOK, Ergonomic, Budget, Efficiency,
- Report the actual status to our project managers
- Representing ME in software change management council
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has;
- Bachelor of computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience in automotive diagnostic & bus communication development and evaluation.
- Experience of project work, and within the automotive industries a merit
- Experience of programing languages as Java, C or equal, and/or production based IT systems.
- Used problem solving with sense of urgency incl. root cause analyzing
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swedish, both verbally and written form
