Position description:
Within Commodity Manufacturing Engineering, we are now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for Interior parts.
The overall purpose of the role is to:
• Assure flawless introduction of car programs into the plants.
• Lead and coordinate activities within area of responsibility.
• Continuously strive for commonality within the plants.
• Upon request support Core or IE, when expertise competence is needed.
Main Tasks
Lead the cross technical product and production manufacturing work, as well as represent Manufacturing during prepare and implement phase within their own commodity area, which means:
Ensures product and process feedback to Research & Development (R&D) in order to fulfil the "six manufacturing attributes" (quality, man hours, cost efficiency, environment, flexibility, and change over):
• Leads and coordinates the manufacturing process within Research & Development.
• Represents Manufacturing Engineering (ME) as well as within ME and Research & Development.
• Ensure the input to Analysis and Verification needs (AVB).
• Drives and follow-up "six manufacturing attributes" within area of responsibility.
• Create and upgrade instruction (PII)
• Report DPA5 checklist status
• Report BGK/PGK and concerns
• Input/feedback of ME requirement to Core
• Give input to the summary and report gate / milestone answers within the area.
• Reporting status and deviations in decided systems/ tools and ensure that there are actions
• Follow-up of cost within responsible area until the TSU phase.
Skills and required experience:
Technical competence at senior high school or university level is desirable.
Practical experience of the production process.
Knowledge about the processes, methods, and tools at Manufacturing and R&D.
Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
FMEA & DFA knowledge are desirable.
Personal profile:
Skilled in communication and collaboration.

Ability to organize and prioritize own work tasks.
Positive and pro-active attitude.
Strong ability for cross functional and multi cultural teamwork.
