Your workplace
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
The department ILS & Logistic solutions consist of 4 sections. We are searching for a Manager to one of the sections, ILS/Enviro management, as the current Manager is attending a new position within Saab. The main operation in the section is ILS (Integrated Logistic Support), System safety and Environmental services. We participate in both international and national projects, large and small, with end customers as Swedish Defense, Swedish Defense procurement, United Nations, other foreign defenses etc. In many businesses we cooperate with other departments and business areas within Saab.
The section consists of 21 employees located in Arboga, Linköping and Järfälla.
Your role
The Manager we are looking for, a leader with ambitions and desire to continue the current development of the section. The Manager responsibility is management, operation, businesses, personnel and financials. The Manager is part of the department management team together with marketing support, controller and the other Managers for respective section. In the department management team you are supposed to contribute to the development of the department and the departments' contribution to the entire company.
Your qualifications
Your qualifications are:
• Interest and desire in development of commercial operation with a strategic ability
• Good capability in communication and analysis
• Taking interest in humans and leadership
• Ambition to develop and maintain long-term business relations
• Applies profitability thinking and understanding of finances
• Experience in leadership or leadership training
• Good knowledge in the Swedish and English language
• Will to cooperate with others
• Having possibility for travelling 2-3 days a week, mainly within Sweden.
We want a leader with ambition to manage the operation without prestige and with openness, where your personal characteristics are of vary high value.
Qualifications of value are documented leadership experience as manager of projects or operations, business development, and experience within the sections operations area.
