Vehicle Engineering (VE) Gothenburg is now looking for a Manager for the Vehicle Strategy Group.

VE Gothenburg is a local organization responsible for leading the development of FH, FM and FMX trucks. As the Manager for Vehicle Strategy in Gothenburg, you will lead a newly established group, with the responsibility to manage the complete truck strategies and prepare product increments. You will be empowered to form this team, from recruitment through delivery execution.
Main responsibilities are:
Establish a strategic Engineering team to develop the complete plan for the technical updates of the FH/FM and FMX trucks
Lead people within the team
Assure optimal technical vehicle concepts
Define the technical development plan for the trucks on highest level
With input from all development areas including powertrain secure balanced and high performing trucks
Lead Cross functional work in the early development phase to set requirements and direction for future trucks
Initiate advanced engineering studies to prepare evolution of the trucks within the responsibility
Visualization and communication of the total product definition
Together with the team judge technical impact and effort for various product updates
Establish strong relation with the Brand Product Strategy and Product Planning functions
Secure competence development and coach team members on their personal development

Qualifications
Master 's degree in Engineering or equivalent
Extensive knowledge of Heavy Duty vehicles
Technical leadership experience
Structured, analytical and holistic mind-set
Proven record of building relations and motivation cross functional organizations.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skill
