Role description
You will manage a skilled and dedicated team that delivers services within the Tracking & Status area to support the Volvo Group customers in their daily operation. It's your responsibility to maximize the value of the product resulting from the work of the team. You will be responsible for many contact areas and work closely with different stakeholder which requires you to be an expert at communication. You and your team will work with both internal and external business contacts and represent the customer voices internally at Connected Solutions.
You will be working in an environment where both internal and external stakeholders have different ideas and perspectives regarding their orders. Your task is to make these ideas reality - which means that your daily work will be to have a holistic view.
Building the business case and then ensuring that the solution stays aligned with the product roadmap and business goals
Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all
Being responsible for the overall user experience for services delivered
Leading a cross-functional team in their relentless work for improvement
Maximize the potential of your teams in order to increase productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
The position also include staffing, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities.
Being a bridge between development team, business organizations and customers
Travel to meet customers to understand business demands and market needs
Continuously reflect upon how we work and how to improve our working way
