Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania Supply Chain Networks, OI, is a function within Production & Logistics. Our ambition is to become the leader within sustainable logistics and our mission is to globally develop, manage and optimize our logistical flows by building flows with minimal environmental impact, high quality and minimal total logistic cost.

Supply Chain Development, OIS, is the strategic department within Supply Chain Networks, responsible for developing Scania's logistics networks, along with sustainability and IT development. We are facing an exciting future towards becoming the industry showcase within supply chain. A new global network strategy is on its way to be established, aiming for sustainability, quality and cost efficiency throughout the entire supply global chain. In order to meet this we are establishing a new group within OIS, Supply Chain Networks Intelligence, OISI.

Job description

As a manager of OISI you will be a key player when it comes to shaping and enabling the future Scania logistics strategy. Customer satisfaction and ability to change and adapt to new circumstances will be competitive advantages in this journey, which is why this new team is established. We offer a job in an international environment with multiple contact surfaces, both internally and externally. Logistics has impact on almost all of Scania's core processes including Scania IT, R&D, purchasing, sales & marketing, production & logistics and cross-brand cooperation within the Traton group. Communication and cooperation is therefore the key to success when collaborating throughout the entire supply chain.

Your main task will be:

• Manage a team of Business Information developers
• Member of the OIS management team
• Developing and maintaining new and innovative business IT development methods
• Initiate and manage development projects and assignments
• Manage the development process from prototyping to industrialization of IT products
• Establish and maintain system governance strategies
• Represent Supply Chain Networks in forums within logistics
• Communicate scope of methods, principles and strategies for business IT development
• Initiating activities to capture new business opportunities through process- and business development

Your profile

You have a master of science or similar with experience from supply chain or IT development. You also have documented work experience in a management position and required knowledge within SPS, project management and IT development. Since we work in a global environment you are fluent in English both written and spoken, and at least a beginner in Swedish.

You need to be positive, communicative, entrepreneurial and have a talent for connecting with new people in this position. You also have a driven and open personality which easily can see the big picture and new opportunities. Furthermore, you are structured as a person, have a genuine interest in IT and logistics and a desire to develop both yourself, your employees and Scania within the area.
