Your Role
Welcome to your new workplace, as a software development manager. Beeing manager, means you will be responsible for the group in terms of cost center budget and result, employee wellbeing, strategic development and resource and competence planning. But you are also the leader of a group working with software for Electronic Warfare systems at Fighter Core Capability Design. Your team will be a group of around 15 employees that develop software providing situational awareness functions within our electronic warfare systems. The group is also developing software for simulation models of our systems.
In this role, you cooperate closely with other line and project managers supporting our projects with high performing teams.
Your profile
To be successful in this role, we see that you have a coaching leadership and build relationships within the organization. You have the ability to drive change and progress, and also an interest to lead change and work with continuous improvement.
Required skills:
* A genuine interest to lead and coach people
* Interest in making improvements
* Good communication skills
* Previous leadership experience in agile development
* Appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification
Desired skills:
* A technical background within functional product development
* Experience as a line manager
Saab is an international organization and it is important that you handle both Swedish and English fluently, in speech and writing.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
