The SAP Competence Center within Sandvik Systems Development is responsible for advisory services, installation, support and administration of SAP solutions for the Sandvik Group. The area comprises solutions that support Sandvik’s operations in such areas as finance, sales and logistics. The function, a strategic reource for Sandvik, currently consist of about 30 employees and is in a substantial growth phase due to the increased use of SAP with the group. The current manager is transferring to other tasks within the Group and we are now seeking his successor.
Your work assignments
Your main task is to drive the ongoing build-up phase of the SAP Competence Center and in the role as manager of the unit assume responsibility for deliveries and results, content and development in which satisfied customers is the overall goal. You will also be responsible within the area jointly with the customer business managers for sales to the respective customer areas.
Specific tasks
• Responsible for area’s goal efforts and strategic development
• Plan and drive build-up phase for the area
• Represent the area in contacts with customers, suppliers and other parties.
• Overall management of the function: coordinate assignments, plan resources, follow-up of assignments and the function as a whole.
• Personnel responsibility for the service managers responsible for the various segments within the area.
Your profile
You are strongly interested and experienced in managing and developing operations as well as personnel in a growth and change environment. All experience in working with, managing and partner cooperation related to SAP or other business systems is a merit.
You have the ability to create enthusiasm and commitment. It is important that you are interested in coaching and supporting your employees. Cooperating and coordinating with others is self-evident. You have IT studies at university level or comparable expertise acquired in another manner. Our many international contacts require that you can read, write and speak English fluently.
You will be based in Sandvik, Sweden.
