This will be us - your new colleagues within Master Data Function
Data is a new function within Group Digital & IT with the goal to unlock the power of data for the full Volvo Group to become a fully data-driven company! With data, the core component of our transformation journey, we will, together with our data talents, make the Volvo Group 2030 vision happen. We will take care of all the aspects of Data, how it is quality assured, documented, made available, prepared, and consumed through core solution, BI, Analytics and Machine Learning. We have an ambitious transformation in front of us, with an implementation of the Data Layer in Azure as well as the reinforcement of Data Governance and Data Management in the full Group.
Master Data is used in many of Volvo's core processes, the Group Master Data Systems are key to make the Volvo business processes continue to operate.

This is how you could make an impact
Within Master Data we have one organization per larger Master Data Domain: Product, Customer, Business Partner, etc. In this role, Manager for Master Data Group you will be responsible for common aspects of our deliver.
The MDM Tool that we are buying
Maintaining our Information Model
Coordinate Data Quality process for our areas
Roll-out of common initiatives
Host manager for our solution delivery leads based out of Sweden
Who are you?
We believe you want to take your career to the next level, working with amazing people around the world. To be successful in this position we believe you have a university degree or equivalent, several years of experience from working with Master Data and driving Data Quality initiative within Master Data or similar as well as from leading people, preferably within IT management.
The right candidate will be able to think and act strategically but also to operate and implement change tactically when required, dealing effectively with ambiguity and managing changing priorities. You should be passionate about driving strategic & technological transformation in a business focused, fact-based and collaborative way to achieve real impact. This role requires solid communication skills and a passion for leading, inspiring and developing people.
In addition to this, you are a passionate believer in continuous learning. You should feel energized by working both independently and interdependently, have proven skills in cross-functional collaboration and thrive in managing, foster and enable both the perform and the transform angles of the job.
