Introduction
We are now looking for a Manager in the Bioreagent department for the ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD). The department is responsible for cell cultivation and purification of proteins for our allergy tests. The department consists of two groups: Monoclonal Antibodies & Enzyme Conjugate (where this position is located) and Allergen Components.
The manufacturing process for monoclonal antibodies (mAb) has recently undergone major changes, including new cultivation techniques. The challenge now is to optimize the processes and implement improvements, so we can grow in line with increased sales volumes. Our protein purification processes are also constantly evolving, and to ensure good manufacturing capacity for the future, we are continuously working with both small and large improvements in operations.
How you can influence
In addition to leading and coaching employees to success, the manager for mAb & Conjugate is member of the management team for Bioreagent and participates in the strategic development of the department's operations. Important interfaces are other functions within Global Operations and close collaboration with R&D in connection with development and improvement work.
More about the job
In this role, you will be the manager of a group of ten employees responsible for the production of monoclonal antibodies and enzyme conjugates. Furthermore, optimization/improvement of manufacturing processes, validation, transfer and preparation of new processes, as well as apply an efficient application of the quality system. The group works according to cQSR and ISO 13485.
The work includes management and development of operations with personnel, budget, and environmental responsibility.
To succeed, we expect an operationally present manager with an interest in leading and developing staff and getting employees to grow with their challenges and tasks. You have a proven curiosity about production where flow optimization with the customer in focus is central. You need to be able to independently lead and be driving in the continuous improvement work regarding quality and efficiency.
We are looking for
A person with a university degree in biotechnology or equivalent with experience from similar assignments and operations. Previous leadership experience is very meritorious.
As a person, you are unpretentious with an encouraging, challenging, and mentor leadership. Your way of communicating is constructive with a positive and solution-oriented approach. To thrive in the role, you should be quality conscious and have insight into working according to a quality system.
Proficient Swedish and English in speech and writing are a requirement.
