Role summary:
We're looking for a Business Planning Manager to lead the business planning team, supporting the Nordics markets with forecasting, scenario planning and actionable input on our strategic challenges. You will act as a business partner for market and cluster leadership advising on business and operational strategy, co-managing risks and opportunities, and supporting achievement of market targets.
Your day to day:
Effectively manage and coach a team of analysts, ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of team deliverables.
Lead end-to-end business planning, forecasting and volume planning assumptions, including OB/RF/IBP processes for volume, share of market and industry trends.
Lead the team in developing short- and long-term planning scenarios, including volume and price-segment-driven consumer behaviour and portfolio plans across all categories.
Act as business partner for the Category, Operations and Commercial teams to align assumptions, reduce complexity and support effective revenue management.
Deliver market, competitor and economic analysis, including micro and macroeconomic drivers, to support strategic planning and performance management.
Monitor competitor performance and industry profitability, anticipate scenarios and integrate insights into long-range planning.
Prepare high-quality internal and external reporting, including highlights, earnings releases and senior management presentations.
Provide clear, insightful recommendations to senior leadership, supporting strong decision making and business outcomes.
What you bring:
Storytelling and the ability to understand the data to make informed business decisions, and tell compelling data stories.
Deep understanding of data, and how data drives decision making in resource allocation.
Extensive financial knowledge and experience across a range of markets and categories.
Strategic mindset, with a demonstrable record of shaping business, marketing and commercial data analytics.
Your experience:
Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance (preferably in FMCG)
Experience of people management and ability to lead a team in a high-pressure environment.
Fluent in English
Knowledge of PMI financial systems is a strong plus.
To be successful in this role, you should be adept at building and maintaining business models to support diverse scenarios, with strong analytical skills to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements. You will also need strong leadership skills, the ability to prioritise and organise the team's work and deliver to the satisfaction of your stakeholders. You'll need to demonstrate curiosity, problem-solving capabilities and collaborate confidently across multi-functional teams and stakeholders.
