About the job
Application Management supports and manages the business applications for Alfa Laval world-wide from our three regional hubs located in the US, India and Sweden. This position reports to the Manager of Application Management based in the US.
The Manager of Application Management EMEA will:
• Lead, manage and develop the Application Management staff within the EMEA region in accordance with our Alfa Laval drivers.
• Inspire, motivate, encourage and train our biggest assets: our employees!
• Promote competence development of each individual and challenge them to reach their highest potential focusing on customer and service-oriented behavior.
• Ensure the staff understands their roles and provide clear feedback on individual performance as well as collective team goals.
• Apply business and/or technical knowledge to ensure specific solutions are fit-for-purpose, aligned with business needs, manage product lifecycle, etc. as deemed appropriate.
• Actively work as a process deputy in various ITIL areas (problem, change, etc), where applicable.
What you know?
We are convinced you have in-depth experience working with various IT solutions, a university degree, and at least 4 years' relevant experience preferably from an international company. You have exceptional leadership skills and continuous improvement mindset.
In addition, you have:
• 2+ years' experience as a Manager for a team providing application support to the business
• 4+ years' business and/or technical knowledge of various IT solutions in a Solution Manager role
• Practical experience working with ITIL, primarily Incident, Problem & Change Management
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills as well as effective presentation skills
