Your role
You are going to work as part of an operational support team in an international environment based in Dubai, UAE.
General description of duties:
Under the direction of the Technical Manager (Site Manager), the Maintenance Planning/Logistic Engineer will plan, organize, schedule and provide supervision for the maintenance, support and logistic flow required for the system in-country. Since we work as a flexible team, you may also be involved in performing actual aircraft maintenance.
Responsibilities:
• Keep the Technical Manager apprised of situations and problems encountered, be responsible for the total
maintenance and logistics flow for the system in close relation with the teams in-country and in Sweden.
• Provide overall coordination of system Planning Schedule and all work performed in the maintenance support
and logistic flow.
• Train team members in maintenance planning.
• Plan and prepare all maintenance work including documentation, procedures and logistics.
• Maintain the support portal and administrate change management.
• Work directly with the customers’ personnel.
• Act as technical advisor to the customer and for the team in-country.
• Plan and implement a stock control system on-site for Customer purchased initial Provisioning and GSE.
• Maintain adequate levels of components, tools, equipment and other maintenance supplies.
Your qualifications
We believe that the applicants’ experience should include:
- Documented experience of Saab 340 aircraft and its complete planning & support loop.
- Experience of Quality work according to Civil aviation standards including EASA Part-M and Part-145.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of all Saab 340 technical reference manuals (AMM, IPC, AD’s, SB’s, SRM etc).
- Preferably Part-66 B1&B2 license with the Saab 340 and a history of working on the aircraft.
- Ability to work closely with others in a team environment and willingness to share knowledge and experiences.
- Preferably experience of living abroad.
