hela Sverige We are now looking for a Maintenance Manager for a client in Skara. Note that this role requires fluency in both English and Swedish.
Main purpose of the job:
Building and management of a process that effectively ensures the availability of machinery and equipment for production needs.
Main missions and results: Responsible for conducting activities within its department in an effective manner towards achieving common objectives of the Company
Reporting deviations from the standard and takes appropriate measures and corrective actions.
Take action to achieve the operational objectives set out in production plans and indicators (KPIs).
Prepares the Maintenance budget and observes its implementation within the allocated financial resources.
Builds and maintains good cooperation with colleagues from other departments, supporting and initiating processes of continuous improvement but also building long-term investment plans in their area.
Reports results according to accepted corporate rules.
Responsible for the safe operation of Maintenance through the supervision of the proper use of machinery, equipment and facility.
Responsible for compliance with labor law, health and safety regulations, Work Regulations and compliance with the rules of social coexistence in the area of Maintenance.
Responsible for optimizing work time in the area of Maintenance through:
• controlling the efficiency and coordination of work positions at individual stages
• checking the compliance of work time with the schedule Provides control over the current Maintenance costs and take appropriate actions towards minimizing them by:
a) control of overtime hours
b) control of employee performance
c) machine performance check
d) control over the costs of renovation and operation of the facility
e) control of the costs of preventive actions Co-corresponds with the engineering department for the constant optimization of production processes compliant with the LEAN principle by making the production lines more flexible, eliminating the start, building production standards.
Responsible for preparation and implementation of a preventive plan of machine and equipment inspection to effectively ensure the availability of machinery and equipment for production needs..
Responsible for the process of quick and effective troubleshooting and their causes.
Responsible for supervision over external companies working on the company's premises, participates in the process of creating cooperation principles and in the selection process.
Actively participates in and contributes to the work of the extended management team
Responsible for providing information and reports on the current implementation of tasks to its immediate superior.
Co-corresponds for new projects implemented in the company through active participation and opinions on projects in the subordinate area.
Preferred Skills and Experience: Mechanical Engineer or Technician or equivalent through experience
5 years' experience of maintenance and repairs services on managerial position, or 8 years' experience as Maintenance Supervisor / Senior Engineer.
Specific experience in leading a maintenance sector
Managerial, Technical administrative skills required - Should be fully conversant with automotive quality tools and systems;
Leadership and motivation of employees
Highly service orientated and good communication skills
Target- and result-orientated combined with a proactive approach
Independent and Self-Motivated
Analytical approach to problems
Computer literate: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Fluent in Swedish English
