Your role
Saabs business area Kockums is a project driven company. As a Main Project Planner within Business Unit Surface Ships you will focus on the time- and resource plans for the overall project. This means working either as the sole Project Planner or in a larger planning group, depending on the size of the project. You will be responsible for project time- and resource plans together with analysis of results to ensure that the project manager has the right basis to make decisions on. You will have an active role in the project. You will also interact with Master Planning and other departments regarding planning processes, methods and tools.
The main tasks are:
* Setting up the project time- and resource plans
* Analyze the project time- and resource plans in order to produce support for decisions
* Leading and collaborating with the project group in matters regarding time- and resource planning
* Participate in developing and maintaining the planning process
You report to Head of Project Management Office Surface Ships Kockums. The role include some business travels, mainly to our office in Malmö however international travels may occur.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you need to be driven, proactive and have endurance. We are looking for you who looks after the company's best as a whole and are solution-oriented. We believe you enjoy a role where you get to take responsibility and lead and have a structured way of working and ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data and extract the overall picture. You are expected to produce future scenarios together with any new risks that arise. Since the role include many stakeholders and collaboration with others, you need excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Required skills:
* A few years experience from above mentioned tasks; Knowledge and experience in setting up and analyze project time- and resource plans as well as knowledge and experience in producing scenarios based on a time-and resource plan.
* Successful experience from leadership roles
* Bachelor's degree or master's degree in technology or economics, advantageous with a specialization in project management, logistics or equivalent competence obtained in another way.
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
* Knowledge and experience in MS Office
Desired skills:
* Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering
* Knowledge and experience in using a planning software (eg. ERM, Primavera, MS Project etc.)
* Experience from manufacturing industry
* Experience in project management, IPMA or PMI certification
* Driving license
What you will be a part of
You will be part of a team consisting of Main Project Planners and Main Project Managers in Karlskrona. Together we are collaborating in order to continuously improve and strengthen our skills in managing our projects. You will also be part of a project team consisting of a wide variety of people, everybody with the common goal of delivering world-class projects.
