Logistics Manager
Job description
As Logistics Manager you will be responsible for logistics and technical documentation within Siwertell and also for order coordination (i.e. purchasing and order processing) and forwarding within Services. This will include:
Personnel responsibility for employees reporting directly to the position
Managing and developing Spares & Purchasing for BHS and Logistics tasks for Siwertell
Standardize spare part components and numbers and spare parts packages in order to shorten lead time for tender and order processes
Enhancing the teamwork in the assigned unit
Ensure smooth cooperation with internal and external partners
Actively supporting usage of best vendor and logistics contracts, valid for the company
Being operative into daily business like purchasing and following up and update organization of status of sales orders and deliveries.
Ensuring continuous improvement on the KPI?s relating to the operation
According to targets set by the management ensuring performance enhancement both financially and process wise
Qualifications and personal characteristics
You have the ability to drive and plan own work as well as co-workers. You have well developed social skills and work well together with co-workers and vendors. You are cost conscious and keep good order and work with high accuracy. We think you have either a university degree in Engineering or Secondary education and work life experience equivalent and that you have 3-7 years of relevant business/product experience. You are fluent in spoken and written English.
