As of 2016, Findus is part of the international corporation Nomad Foods and you have quite surely heard about upcoming organizational changes on the evening news.

One of these changes is the relocation of the Headquarter to a brand new office in the central parts of Malmö.

Karin, an experienced CS employee, and five of her colleagues now need a new manager to replace our previous who has taken on a new position within the organization. The team is highly self-driven but they need someone to support and guide them in the upcoming organizational development. Old processes need to be updated and new ones implemented and in the near future there will be a change of ERP-system, when SAP will be implemented.

Therefore, we are now looking for a Logistics and Customer Service Manager.

Who are we looking for?

Well, your personality is really important. You are a team player who doesn't hesitate to walk the extra mile. There will be times when things will go a bit chaotic and all facts won't be totally clear, but you still need the ability to make decisions. But then again, isn't that how development is driven anyway? You need to be a good communicator, with the ability to analyze the complex contexts of logistics and explain them so that the rest of the organization understands what you are talking about. Needless to say, this is a position that also requires you to be structured, thorough and persistent.

Looking at educational background, we believe our ideal candidate to have a M.Sc in Engineering or Business Administration, or other relevant academicals degree within supply chain.

You have at least five years of extensive experience working within Supply Chain, preferably from an international production environment. Actually, you might come from a position as Supply Chain consultant as well. The point is that we need you to understand the complexity of customer and supplier structures and the processes related to Supply Chain and Logistics, and is familiar with working in a project based context.

We believe you have some sort of previous leadership experience and it's likely you come from a position as first line manager or team leader within demand/supply planning or logistics. As a manager you have an enthusiastic personality and you thrive by making the individuals in your team grow both as professionals as persons. An open personality with a good sense of humor often makes things a bit easier.

As English is the corporate language you will need to both speak and write it fluently.

Previous experience from SAP is an advantage, but at the least you have experience from working with an end-to-end ERP-system where you have learned how to make the system work effectively with the business.

By reading this far, you should have been able to get the essence of the position as Logistics and CS Manager at Findus, but we boil it down to some bullet points for you as well. These are parts of, but not all, of your responsibilities:

• Responsible for customer service operation, master data management, transport management, warehouse operations and customs
• Develop routines and ways of working to ensure ongoing improvement of logistics performance.
• Facilitate best practice development across Supply Chain and bring new concepts, ideas and practices to the different parts of the process
• Participate in the Supply Chain leadership team
• Lead the work within the Customer Service, Master Data and Customs function in line with the company's policies, vision and objectives.
• Set KPI targets for improving the Customer Service performance and define actions to meet the targets.
• Have a close communication with major customers to ensure continuous process development.

Act as interface in communication with other parts of Nomad business.

The position is located in the head office in Malmö and reports to the Supply Chain Director (who by the way is Erik, a really nice guy who will both support and challenge you).
