www.fingerprints.com We are now looking to expand our Operations team with a Logistic Management role, to support the ongoing work to establish and improve internal working procedures for continuous improvement.
In the role as Logistic Management at Fingerprints, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the logistics functions, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely management of carriage with a good communication with vendors for imports and exports. You will together with a motivated department working for monthly KPIs and by that be a part of a inspiring team.
Key responsibilities
• Organizing process of all shipments in line with company requirements
• Working closely with the planning organization on continual review of shipping dates and reporting exceptions.
• Lead reconfiguration of warehouse and logistic setup to further improve or to allow production and deliveries of new product, to new customers or to new segments.
• Be the main contact towards the distribution center.
• Total responsibility for indirect logistic in the company.
• Close cooperation with the planning organization to get input on result, root causes and corrective actions for the given KPIs and drive improvements
You report to Director Supply Chain Management and will be part of a growing team placed in different sites both in Sweden. You will mainly work from our office in Malmö, but you must also be willing to travel to suppliers and to our other sites from time to time.
Your background and profile
You have an education in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and have at least 6 years or more of experience of working within manufacturing industry, preferably electronics or other high volume business. You have logistic experience from Asia setup and also good knowledge in relevant logistic areas (shipping, customs rules, forwarder etc.). Knowledge of ERP applications is a must, preferably Microsoft Navision. Through your career you have built up a market awareness. To work in Fingerprints, you should be used to work in an international environment.
You are self-driven, analytical, structured and organized with attention to details. To work in an efficient and effective way and get things done is something that describes you. The role requires a collaborative and flexible style where the communication and proactively share information in a timely manner is a key to success.

As our corporate language is English, fluent written and spoken English is a requirement. Proficiency in additional common languages in the company (such as Swedish, Mandarin, Korean) is viewed favorably.
