hela Sverige As Lighting Category Director, your area of expertise will be within Lighting Control products. As such your scope of responsibilities will cover Light & Room control, Connected Space, and Emergency Lighting LoBs.
In this position, you will define strategies and action plans to develop Lighting offer sales and the ability to execute in targeted geographical regions. You will anticipate the impacts of the introduction of new LED technologies on the market and lead specialized sales channels. Job location can be Ängelholm, Malmö or Göteborg.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Visit target countries to evaluate who are the relevant stakeholders, what is the market potential, the opportunitites and challenges, how sales and incentives are allocated, and develop a documented strategy for each target country.
• Visit relevant customers, influencers and channels for the Lighting in countries and provide crisp feedback to LoB VP to highlight LED technology breakthroughs impacts.
• Get commitment from country to invest in required resources.
• Collect & analyse competition benchmarks at the end user level, including alternative business models.
• Help to define business model and prove their viability.
• Develop cross-selling of Lighting working with other divisions to ensure that the right incentives and focus are set.
• Identify local opportunities dedicated to Lighting market to enlarge partners portfolio including direct sales agents network.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
The ideal background requirements for the position are as follows:
• Engineering degree with specialization in Marketing (MBA would be an asset)
• Experience in Marketing & sales management
• Experience in an International Environment
• Fluent english mandatory, some other European languages would be an asset
• Strong knowledge of Lighting market : business models, channels, key players
• Proven managerial experience in sales and/or marketing and knowledge of channel marketing and selling
