Role summary:
The Lead Trade Marketing will oversee and drive the development and execution of comprehensive trade marketing strategies and activities across multiple sectors, including B2B, B2C, and D2C. This role is critical in ensuring executional and operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability for our point-of-sale material across marketing, supply chain and retail development. You will manage and lead a team of specialists, ensuring that all trade marketing initiatives are strategically aligned, effectively implemented, and continuously optimized to drive business growth and maintain a competitive advantage.
This role is essential for driving the success of Swedish Match's trade marketing initiatives across various sectors, ensuring a unified and compelling customer experience, and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

Your main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement overarching trade marketing strategies for B2B, B2C, and D2C sectors.
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of skilled professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team environment.
Oversee supply chain management for point-of-sale materials, including implementing digital workflows, managing demand planning, inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and overall coordination of all point-of-sale materials.
Oversee procurement activities, including quotes, invoicing, vendor negotiations, and sourcing strategies, while managing purchase orders.
Drive pilot projects, testing, and store renovations in the market.
Supervise in-market support for point-of-sale materials and establishing an effective sales support system providing necessary tools.
Manage budgets, cash flow, and financial accountability.
Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support trade marketing initiatives across B2B, B2C, and D2C channels, and plan and execute impactful trade marketing initiatives.
Drive the data collection strategy, monitor trade marketing effectiveness, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Optimize processes and systems for cross-functional and external team efficiency.


Who we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing and concept development with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in Swedish and English is required.
Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of supply chain management, operations, coordination, and procurement processes.
Experience in managing budgets and financial accountability.


To be successful in this role you need to have great communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and be able to handle multiple projects and stick to deadlines.
