hela Sverige Are you a creative control system engineer that would like to develop future solutions for sustainable transports? Then, we are a dedicated team doing research and advanced engineering with focus on control systems that would like to have you as a new team member!
We strongly believe that control systems play a key role to achieve future demands on energy efficiency and low emissions. New and more advanced control and optimization methods will be required and the system complexity must be handled in a proper way. We propose and develop control applied to complete powertrain, combustion engines and hybrid vehicles. The increased electrification of the propulsion system is one major focus area. We often collaborate with external research partners on solutions aiming for medium and long term products.
Role Description and Work Tasks
As a Senior Control System research engineer you contribute to identifying and maturing new control system concepts including algorithms, software and hardware. Your main target is to build knowledge and confidence in new solutions and prepare for introduction into future products. You mainly participate in technology development projects where you design, implement and test control algorithms in complete systems. You may also be involved in research projects with external collaboration and explore new innovative control concepts.

Qualifications
• You have a MSc. or PhD in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent.
• You have a focus on control system engineering in your academic profile and some relevant work experience.
• Your analytical skills and genuine interest in analysis of complex systems and control engineering methodology qualifies for the position.
• You have a strong own drive to research and to develop new technology with focus on customer needs.
• You have a collaborative mindset and very good communication skills in English.
