We, at Volvo Group Aftermarket Technology (AMT) Gothenburg, are looking for a Lead Maintainability Engineer to work in close collaboration with the Electromobility & Fuel Cell teams to maximize the vehicle uptime for our customer with a business mindset...and we need you!

You will be part of the AMT team in Gothenburg, will have colleagues working across the world and work in different networks of engineers and business partners.

This is your mission
You will be the Lead Maintainability Engineer for Electromobility and Fuel Cell securing the best maintainability conditions. You will be dealing with technology platform and application development for Volvo AB business areas when maintainability is at stakes!
You will act as the maintainability expert in the early phases defining the repair and diagnostic strategy and packaging studies for the complete Volvo Group Fuel Cell platform and Volvo Heavy Duty Truck application.
You will drive and manage the maintainability roadmap for the Electromobility and Fuel Cell application and contribute to technology roadmap synchronization with other engineering departments.
You will participate to the developments of technical solutions which are easy and cost effective to diagnose, service and repair. You will develop relevant requirements to support the aftermarket business such as uptime services, diagnostic, spare part assortment.

We also believe that you have:
Master's degree in Mechatronics or bachelor's degree with applicable experience in automotive product development or aftermarket business
Knowledge in vehicle SW and HW architecture
Strong knowledge of the overall aftermarket business and workshops including repair and diagnostics, service information and spare assortment
Curiosity leading you to develop a robust technical culture and allow you to provide strong recommendations to design according to aftermarket needs
Perseverance, energy and a drive to continuously improve
And strong leadership, networking and negotiation skills
