hela Sverige Scope of RoleThe Lead Engineer is responsible for securing the delivery and communication to supplier Body Engineering/ solutions for ongoing and new projects.Engineering, Research and Development (ER&D) is a growing function within Escenda engineering that is assembled to work on projects and programmes for our clients. This position will be working on projects within a specific function to provide design, support and coordination. Area of ResponsibilityThis position is responsible for creation of CAD geometry in support of projects culminating in FDJ. You will have responsibility for:· Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time · Provide support and guidance to CAD engineering, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence · Ensuring that the PMST delivers its objectives and targets (technical and business)· Identifying all risks to the programmeLiaison and coordination of offshore CAD resource.Knowledge / ExperienceEssential:· Good all-round design skills which must include Body Engineering (Trim, Cockpit, Structures, Seats, etc) function· Team Centre Engineering (TCE)· Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements. · Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels, · PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc· Degree in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
