Lead Engineer
We are now looking for a communicative and self-driven Lead Engineer for our client in the automotive industry!

Employer: Dfind Science & Engineering

Location: Gothenburg

Scope: 1 year full time, starting from January 2018. For the right candidate a permanent position can be offered at the end of the assignment.

Role description:
This position is within the A/C & Auxiliary heater systems group. As a Lead Engineer/Component Responsible you are responsible for one or several components in early concept phases, through projects and over the components lifetime. The role includes cross-functional work with suppliers, purchasing and manufacturing engineers in close cooperation with A/C system team leader, A/C integration and design engineers.

The group are currently 90 employees divided into 5 different groups.

Main responsibilities:
• Lead design & development in concept phase, throughout projects and over the components lifetime
• Deliver technical documentations, including CAD and drawing design release
• Establish and transfer knowledge to Design Guidelines, System and Component Specifications
• Plan, order and participate in component testing
• Develop and share experience and competence within the technical area
• Report status to the A/C system team leader, project management and group manager

Qualifications:
• B.Sc. or M.Sc in mechanical engineering
• A couple of years' experience in the relevant area
• Good A/C system knowledge and functionality
• English, written and verbal
• Driver's license B
