Volvo Trucks Europe Sales Area (VTE SA)

Volvo Trucks Europe Sales Area (VTE SA), headed by Roger Alm, is one of four Sales Areas in the newly formed Volvo Trucks organization. VTE SA has the responsibility for the following:
13 single markets consisting of Germany, UK & Ireland, Belgium & Luxemburg Sweden & Iceland, Russia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, France, Spain and Italy
Two clusters which are Central East incl. Austria and Baltic Sea
Private Importers (Israel, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus)

Key Account Manager Volvo Trucks Europe
Do you want to work with selected international fleet customers in Europe & Globally including some of the most famous brands in the world? Do you want to represent & promote one of the world's most desired truck brands?

Commercial Trucks and Fleet Sales, Volvo Trucks Europe is now looking for an International Key Account Manager who wants to develop our customers operations to an even higher level. Your mission will be to develop sales and profitability of total transport solutions to selected International fleet customers and also find new customer opportunities. As Key Account Manager, you will be part of the VTE Fleet Sales Team and report directly to the Director Fleet Sales VTE.

Responsibilities and Main Tasks
• Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business that result in profitable growth
• Development and execution of annual strategic business plan for each key customers
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with decision makers and influencers within customers organizations
• Coordination with local markets and other sales regions within Volvo Group to ensure we properly manage customer expectations
• Monitor Customer Satisfaction and take corrective action when required

Location: Flexible (Europe)

Competence Requirements
• University degree in business or engineering or equivalent experience
• Several years of documented commercial experience from the automotive industry
• Proven negotiation, presentation, selling and closing skills
• Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
• Excellent team player
• Fluent English, spoken and written is required
