Do you want to be part of Cost Engineering & Industrialization Team?
In this position, you will work together with the Development & Engineering organisation and with our suppliers, providing value to Tetra Pak's customers through focus on Performance (Quality, Cost and Delivery), Technology scouting and People Engagement.
DSO, Capital Equipment is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and distribution equipment. The Cost Engineering & Industrialization department interfaces with the Development & Engineering organization to define and achieve its project targets. We are responsible for organizing, managing and driving development related sourcing, which contributes to the delivery of new machines to our customers at the right quality, time and cost.
Main responsibilities
• Participate in early development project involvement and support the process of sourcing and contracting of potential suppliers.
• Manage the Supply Chain responsibility in the assigned development projects according to the global process.
• Manage sourcing and direct material purchasing activities delivering components and modules for project inhouse- and field tests.
• Issue and follow up purchase orders according to the global process.
• Negotiate, plan and execute supplier risk assessments to secure Project and Supply Chain aspects.
• Secure and drive method and implementation of cost analysis.
• Lead and support Cost Reduction Activities related to the assigned equipment in development projects.
• Support commercial and drawn part sourcing strategy securing the right balance between quality, supplier capability and cost.
• Secure Agreement coverage within confidentiality, Intellectual Property Rights protection and legal compliance for the development projects.
• Report results according to defined instructions and procedures.
Qualifications
You have a technical background probably with-in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You have at least 3 years' experience from similar tasks within development and manufacturing of complex products and are passionate about advanced technology. High level of Excel, SAP is beneficial.
To be successful in this position you have strong communication and networking skills. You drive for results and you have the ability to motivate others and to influence at all levels in the organisation. You have excellent analytical skills and enjoy problem solving as well as taking initiatives and driving activities independently.
Fluent both in written and spoken English is required and knowledge in Italian is an advantage.
