Folkefinans AS is a Norwegian credit and finance company under the supervision of the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority. Folkefinans offers financial services to individuals trough simple, flexible loans and digitized processes. Loans are offered on competitive terms and as a complement to traditional banks. Folkefinans is one of the largest actors in smaller credits to individuals and they continuously improve their existing products and implements new innovative products.

In the role as project manager you are in charge and responsible for a portfolio which includes small and major projects. You are responsible for running all the parts and finding the way to the results of the projects. In this role, you investigate and ensure that the overall strategies are implemented correctly and act as a sounding board against various functions. The projects may run across different business areas and you are responsible to act and support the organisation in different areas in order to be able to accomplish the projects.
You are responsible of the design, the frames and to define the course of action in your projects. The projects are planned from the organisation's management team and are based on an annual plan that may be modified during the year, depending on the company's direction. A natural part of the work is to have contact with several different parts of the company.
In the role as project manager, you collaborate closely together with others and act as a "Gatekeeper" towards the IT department. You handle new cases and projects coming in which results in smaller projects or escalate the case to another department. However, as a project manager are you supposed to follow up different cases/projects until its completed.
Examples of a project that can accrue in this role can be an implementation of a new product with several department who are involved or a more operational project within a special business area.
KvalifikationerEducation,Work experience and personal characteristics
• Relevant academic degree.
• At least 1 year experience of project management, preferably in the financial sector.
• Qualifying with basic knowledge and interest in banking and finance and IT.
• Qualifying if you have worked in the financial sector, belonged to an IT team or have knowledge of risk and/or change management.
• Fluent English in speech and writing, merit with another Nordic language.

To succeed in this role, you should be structured and have a burning interest in project management. Furthermore, you should be a solution-oriented person who shows responsibility and commitment to your work. You prefer and enjoy a climate that is characterized by collaboration with others and have a positive approach to help other's when needed. We believe that an individual in this role, who has many contact areas, should be a skilled communicator. Moreover, you should be used to work with others and thrives in a changing environment which requires that you are able to shift focus.

This role is a direct recruitment, which means that the requirement process takes place trough Bravura, but you will be employed directly at Folkefinans.
