About Group IT
Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.
All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.
Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.
Assignment specification
Swedish Banking IT Division is part of the IT Development organization. We are an expanding division with roughly 180 employees. As a Department we are always at the front edge regarding new technology and working methods. Our projects are run using agile methodology and we operate in a very fast moving environment in tight cooperation with our Business partners. The area is characterized by high business demands, speed and a continuous development.
Swedish Banking IT, Stockholm, is now looking for a Java developer to Intranet Sweden team. The role includes maintenance and development of Java applications based on Spring framework. These intranet applications are used for administration of the bank 's internal systems. The applications will eventually be replaced or developed in new technology and you will be an important part of that transition.
About you
You have deep understanding of Java web applications and are an experienced and committed Java developer. As a person you are accurate and capable to independently plan and implements the releases but also a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and learning from your colleagues. You are an analytical, structured, creative problem solver and are motivated by learning and taking on new responsibilities. Good communications skills are essential and you have the ability to get a message across in a pedagogic manner even to colleagues outside your discipline.
You are the one we are looking for if you;
Have at least three years of experience from Java/Web development of which at least two years with J2EE Experience in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and Git, and the ability to write structured and semantic code Basic Unix skills Oracle/SQL knowledge Knowledge in frameworks (Spring, AngularJS, Jasmine/Karma) Experience in Ajax and asynchronous web services with REST/JSON Experience developing responsive and adaptive solutions for mobiles, tablet and desktops is an advantage. A Degree in an appropriate IT/Design discipline Excellent language skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
