We are looking for an Operating Technician for an assignment from August to January. The position is full time with placement in Stockholm.

Tasks:
• Installation of prerequisites. During this activity, all the patches, service packs, drivers etc. needs to be applied.
• Verification of prerequisites. During this activity, Supplier will verify, that all the patches, service packs, drivers etc. have been applied on the affected systems. The actual installation of Data Protector Modules can begin when all pre-requisites are met.
• Installation and configuration of the Cell Managers. During this activity, Supplier will install, configure the Cell Managers on the desired platform, to the latest version of Data Protector Software.
• Installation and configuration of the Installation Servers. During this activity, Supplier will install and configure any Installation Servers required for the Customer environment, to the latest version of Data Protector Software.
• Installation of client modules. During this activity, Supplier will install the required software modules for the agreed number of client systems, to the latest version of Data Protector Software.
• Configure backup devices. During this activity, Supplier will configure the backup devices. Backup devices (library, drives etc.) will be setup and configured to the requirements of the backup procedures.
• Configure Media Agents. Configuration of the media agents directly accessing backup devices, up to 20 systems per site.
• Configure media. During this activity, Supplier will setup and initialize the number of media pools and backup media for procedures within the scope of this service. Media pools and media will be configured to the requirements of the backup/copy procedures.
• Setup, configure backup procedures
• Overview. Through this service, Supplier will setup, configure, and test backup procedures on an agreed number of client systems.

• Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service, up to 10 systems (incl. Exchange) per site
• VMWARE Integration
• Prerequisites Verification
• Implement Integration, up to 1 vSphere domain per site
• Check pre-requisites
• Setup/check SAN zoning
• Setup one backup server on Windows
• Configure the integration
• Configure backup jobs (up to 2 per site)
• Configure copy jobs (up to 1 per site)
• Split Mirror Backup. Establishing split mirror backup requires the following layers of integration:
• storage management, BCV handling
• maintain application consistancy over BCV operations
• volume management, file system handling of BCV volumes
• integration with backup software
This proposal includes split mirror backup solution development and deployment for the following applications:
• Oracle on HP-UX
• Oracle on AIX
• SAP/Oracle on HP-UX
• SAP/Oracle on AIX
Solution will be developed in test environment. Customer must ensure the following pre-requisites are met:
• Test environment
• Storage space for BCV's
• Licenses for BCV's
• Creation of BCV volumes and any related storage setup tasks
• Storage management (BCV handling) scripts
• Deployment server HW for each application where the solution is implemented
Developed solution will be documented and deployed on up to 10 systems in Stockholm.
