Overview
The Gothenburg/Stockholm Workplace Support team supports roughly 1200 users and their IT workplaces (pc's, smartphones and all collaboration tools) in SCA Head Quarters in Stockholm, the Gothenburg Business Center and the Mölnlycke factory.
The team consists of 2 colleagues in Stockholm and 4 in Gothenburg and is part of the Europe North Workplace Support group (covering Benelux, UK, Nordic countries and the Baltics).
Main Tasks
The Team Leader leads the team to support these two office locations and the small factory at Mölnlycke with the best possible quality and service level.
The Workplace Support employees are the "face" of IT locally towards the users. They provide support in the area of the IT workplace and collaboration tools.
The Workplace Support tasks are:
Installing, reinstalling/maintaining and replacing pc's, printers, smartphones, applications and any other IT workplace related hardware/tools
Ensuring that all service requests and incident reports from users are processed in the ITSM (IT Service Management System of the company)
Administrating IT assets (hardware, software) in the above mentioned ITSM system
Training IT end-users in relation to their IT workplace and collaboration tools like teleconferencing, videoconferencing, Lync, Sharepoint, smartphones:
The Team Leader's main accountabilities and responsibilities are:
Provide day to day immediate supervision of the team in order to obtain timely and accurate realisation of the objectives and satisfied customers.
Prioritize, assign and follow-up tasks to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
Work together with the team and participate in and support team initiatives
Build long-term relationships within the IT community, suppliers and with stakeholders
Guarantee that the team members obtain the correct knowledge level to execute the processes defined for the team
Coach and mentor the team members. Provide day-to-day feedback in the work environment.
Respond to complex, escalated enquiries from team members and forward to relevant experts if needed
Key Competencies
Education and experience
Professional background in the area of IT, ideally several years within a similar role
Familiar with working with IT Service Management processes (ITIL foundation certificate is preferred)
University degree, preferably in IT
