Scania Financial Services is serving Scania customers, dealers and distributors in 52 markets through 15 captive business units with financing and insurance solutions. Over 850 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 100.000 vehicles representing around 70 billion SEK of assets.

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a pure truck manufacturer to offering complete, sustainable transport and services solutions. IT and digitalisation is a crucial part of this transformation and Business IT at Financial Services has started a stimulating and challenging journey of change that will contribute to the development of Scania Financial Services business.

To be able to ensure this journey and to give the accurate support to our business units around the world we will strengthen our team with an IT Strategist. For this position you need to have a deep knowledge within the IT area, a high interest in financial services and development of an organisation 's strategy and information technology.

Job description
You will assure that Scania Financial Services IT strategy is aligned with and closely linked to the business mission, strategy and processes. You will be accountable for the IT architecture from a Financial Services perspective and that all our central applications, tools and systems are well integrated.

Your responsibilities will be:

To outline efficient IT environment meeting the Scania Financial Services business needs. This will be done in close cooperation with the Scania IT organisation
Be a driver for Financial Services digitalization and assure alignment with the rest of Scania organisation
Define and set up a maturity IT model for our business units around the world and support and drive the implementation of Scania Financial Services IT strategy
Support and develop the business units within the IT area
A natural speaking partner for the IT Managers in our business units and lead and coordinate our regularly IT meetings

Your profile
To succeed in this position you should have the following skills and/or qualities:

Experience of strategic work and IT architecture
A broad knowledge in the IT and business process area
Good understanding of business needs and requirements
Fluent in English
Experience of the financial services industry is a plus
Certification within IT architecture is a plus.
Ten years of relevant experience

You need to be self-driven and proactive in the contacts with local finance companies. Good communication abilities, service-minded oriented, analytical skills with a holistic focus are also characteristics we are looking for.

The job offers plenty of international contacts with our finance companies. This also means that you need to travel from time to time.

In this position you will be reporting to the head of Business IT within the Scania Financial Services head office.
