The Company is a global provider of electrical linear actuator components- and systems as well as linear motion products, including high end medical and industrial actuators and roller screws. They operate in a structurally growing market driven by automation with an attractive product portfolio and strong engineering competence. Headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, the company operates nine production sites (Sweden, France (2), Switzerland, Germany (2), US, Taiwan and China) and 13 dedicated sales units and employs approximately 1,200 employees.

Triton, an investment firm in Europe, has signed an agreement to acquire the Company and intends to form a standalone company under a new brand, which means they can continue the positive trend and the exciting journey.

About the job

The company has just started the exciting and challenging work to establish a totally new IT organization and build a complete IT environment which will support the whole company at all sites.

Now there is an interesting opportunity where we are looking for an IT Service Manager - Workplace & Communication to join their growing IT team. We are searching for a professional with a high degree of experience in Workplace & Communication technologies as well as service management in a complex multinational environment.

As the IT Service Manager - Workplace & Communication you will ensure that service support and delivery processes are setup to meet organization's needs. The technical services which falls under your responsibility includes PC client management, Application asset mgmt., End-user mgmt. & client security, Email, Printing, Office365, Telephony, Voice- & videoconferencing, MDM, Helpdesk services etc.

In this role you will be a core member of the IT- team, where you will be the owner and caretaker of the service portfolio for the related services, incl. budgeting, status reporting and ensuring development of roadmaps for service improvements and adaption to new technical/market opportunities. Another important part of your role is to take lead in assignments and projects related to new demands or changes in the related service environment. You are eager to ensure to produce a good and timely communication to the organization about service status and to make sure that problem issues are managed in a professional way.

The company operates with a focused sourcing and cloud strategy where external partners provides most of the operational services, which requires you to be strong in vendor relationships and commercial arrangements.

You will be located in Göteborg (Sweden), at the headquarter, reporting to the IT Manager. Some travel over multiple continents is to be expected.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate for this position has broad and deep technical knowledge, strong communication skills, good analytical and documentation capabilities and is eager to combine long term improvements with detail-oriented problem analysis in seeking innovative and cost-effective solutions to the organizations IT-service demands.

To succeed in this role, you have a strong personal drive and interest in becoming the technical system matter expert for their Workplace and Communication services environment. You will contribute proactively by identifying and proposing improvement initiatives, which will improve both business operations and the IT service environment. You are passionate about finding solutions with a positive attitude and like to exceed expectations and provide great service and end-user experience. You value teamwork and enjoy working closely with you colleagues in the IT department, external service providers and internal stakeholders, to ensure to create best possible outcome and continuously optimize successful implementation IT services as well as the continuous monitoring for issues and improvement potentials related to service delivery quality.

Requirements

• Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer systems & networks (or equivalent)

• A deep competence of and exposure to a broad range of Workplace and Communication services technologies (Client HW, Wintel, Active Directory, Exchange, Print mgmt., Telephony, Voice- & videoconferencing, MDM Office365, SharePoint etc.)
• Relevant experience from participating in complex IT change initiatives and IT-operations

• Experience working from similar position is considered a plus or in roles such as Senior Workplace engineer, IT Infrastructure project manager etc.
• Experience from service design & service management. Project management experience is considered a strong plus
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish
