Scania Credit Group (SCA), a Scania Financial Services (SFS) business unit (BU), serving customers, dealers and distributors in more than 20 different markets through local leasing companies or cross border financing. The Head Office/Market Support centre is based in Södertälje, supporting the local markets with governance, management, administration and systems. In the markets where we operate, Scania Credit Group is financing more than two thirds of Scania's sales. We are more than 100 dedicated professionals who manage a portfolio consisting of trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing over 620 MEURO of assets.
As our current IT Manager is moving on to a new challenge within Scania, we are now recruiting a successor.
As a IT Manager you will be a part of the Process Department and will be reporting to Process Manager. The Process Team in Södertälje consists of 6 employees and is responsible for IT, Support & Maintenance, project management and The Scania Way / SRS work for the group. The team works with continuous development of processes and systems in close cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders.
The position is based at Scania Credit AB's main office in Södertälje.
Job Description
We offer a position with international contacts where you will be part of a great team! The main responsibility of the role is the planning, execution, and maintenance of Scania Credit IT environments and systems. This is based on the input from SCA's system and process owners and done in accordance with the global Scania Corporate IT Strategy. The responsibility also covers coordination and maintenance of existing IT systems in our 7 regional offices.
Principal duties of the role includes;
• Heading and steering of SCA's IT related activities
• Drive and encourage digitalization of internal and external processes
• Presentation of new IT projects towards respective decision forum
• Implementation of IT projects
• Develop and maintain IS/IT policies, IT-plan, and Disaster Recovery Plan
• Define and follow-up on IT-plan
• Ensure compliance with external and internal audit and legislation requirements for IT system setup
• Keep up to date with HW and SW technology development relevant to SCA business
• Responsible for the interface between end users and the suppliers of business applications, and between SCA IT and Scania IT
• Information System Administration - ensure processes and routines for remote office and remote users support
• Budget responsibility for the IT department and IT infrastructure
You will work in close cooperation with the Process Manager and Operations Manager. The work will consist of both making sure the daily operation works as efficiently as possible and drive change management, often in project form. The position requires active cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and covers both existing and new markets.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has a high level of personal integrity, is driven and self-motivated, takes own initiatives and possesses excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is also very welcome). You are also a business minded team player who is used of working in an international environment, with people of various background and nationality. You are motivated by challenges which include operations in growing markets and are not afraid of continuously changing and new circumstances to which you will need to adapt.
Your skills and formal qualifications should preferably include:
• University degree in information and computer science and/or several years of relevant experience,
• Used to lead in a changing environment
• Experience of Power BI and QlikView
• Knowledge of View 21 would be a great advantage
It would be beneficial if you have experience from a Financial Services company.
