We are seeking an IT Support Manager to lead and develop the Nordic IT support organization for Samsung with a service-oriented and strategic approach. This role involves aligning IT operations with business objectives, ensuring effective infrastructure, data security, and cost-efficient IT processes. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, introducing innovative solutions while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic IT Leadership
Shape IT strategies and visions in coordination with Samsung's European Headquarters (EHQ) to meet business needs.
Review and improve existing IT infrastructure and services to align with organizational objectives.
Develop and implement cutting-edge IT solutions tailored to the company's goals.
Operational Oversight
Manage the Nordic IT Support organization, including determining required skill sets and overseeing daily operations.
Supervise IT budgeting, resource allocation, and efficient cost management.
Ensure data and system security, adhering to regulatory compliance standards like NIS2.
Process Development and Collaboration
Lead process optimization and IT-related projects in collaboration with internal teams and headquarters.
Present IT strategies, solutions, and roadmaps to senior management and stakeholders.
Introduce and support the integration of advanced technologies such as AI, Cloud (SaaS), RPA, and Data Warehousing.
Contract and Vendor Coordination
Manage relationships and contracts with service providers, suppliers, and mobile operators.
Ensure service levels and agreements are met and maintained.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of experience delivering IT projects and 5+ years in a comparable management role.
Background in consumer electronics or FMCG industries preferred.
Proven experience in IT strategy, software development, and operational leadership.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Scandinavian or Korean is an advantage.
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in IT systems such as SAP, BI tools (Power BI, Qlik), Salesforce, Azure, and RPA solutions.
Strong knowledge of IT security, data analysis, and infrastructure management.
Familiarity with cross-functional IT structures and compliance topics.
