hela Sverige Apsis International AB is looking for an experienced and skilled IT manager for our headquarters in Malmö. You will get a comprehensive responsibility, as you will be responsible for our external hosted server environment.
We are using different suppliers to host our application. Our hosting facilities are placed in Sweden and in UK at one of the world's biggest suppliers. The application is mainly running on a large windows server environment, with a few Linux servers. The main responsibility will be to ensure a stable and scalable operating environment.
The position will require that you are able to work both operationally, and with external partners and suppliers. Most of our solutions are running on fully managed hosting environments, but it is still very important that you have hands on experience.
You will report directly to the CPO and you will be a part of the product and development department. You will work closely with our development team and DBA.
Responsibilities
• Primary owner of our external server environment * Ensuring stability and scalability of our existing server environment* Participating in the future design of our server environment* Surveying and monitoring our environment with help from our external suppliers* Ensuring a highly secure environment* Securing that our suppliers meet our service expatiations Job Tasks
• Daily surveillance and monitoring of the environment.* Troubleshoot, if needed, with help from our suppliers* Monitor problems and identify performance trends and work with our suppliers to resolve them* Work with product development to troubleshoot and workaround application issues* Add structure to IT operations - implement change management, documentation, best practices, etc.* Daily contact to our external hosting suppliers* Administration of Domain names, SSL and Active Directory Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands on experience * Experience of working with managed hosting providers* Windows 2003/2008 Server - in depth knowledge: performance monitoring, AD/GPO and patch management* Experience of implementing, operating, tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting IIS solutions.* Solid experience of medium to large server environments* Solid knowledge of L2/L3 networks, firewalls and load balancers* Solid knowledge of Firewalls * Administration of Domain names, SSL and Active Directory* Ability to work closely with others and to mentor more junior engineers* Excellent English skills - orally and in writing Personal skills
