Procurement is one of the key levers in increasing Vattenfall's Operational Excellence by harvesting synergies of scale and skill across the Group in the coming years. Procurement supports the business with procuring all goods and services at best possible commercial terms and conditions by being involved from when the need for external supply occurs and beyond the end of a supplier relation. Vattenfall is one of the largest buyers in the utilities sector with around 6 billion Euro spend annually. Vattenfall is now looking to recruit an Investment Senior Buyer. Job description
As Investment Senior Buyer you will become part of an international team and report to the Sourcing Manager within Procurement. Your focus will be on investment and sourcing and you will be working in an international environment. You will lead procurement teams in various investment and sourcing projects within the Heat segment and you need to be able to drive sourcing processes from demand to contract management. Your main task is to match saving targets, improve cash flow, business needs and market opportunities. The position as Investment Senior Buyer requires in-depth understanding of Swedish terms and conditions regarding legislation as well as best practice in relevant areas. You need extensive experience in negotiation and project management. We are looking for a person with strong goal-orientation, good people's skills and experience of managing change processes in a global setting. You need an international and strategic way of thinking and a hands-on perspective in your every day's line of work. You have a master's degree or other equivalent background, a minimum of 5 years relevant international work experience and you are fluent in English and Swedish.
You will be based in a location where Vattenfall has its main markets in Europe, preferable in Stockholm or Berlin. This is a job that requires international travel.
