Vattenfall is Europe's fifth largest electricity generator and the largest producer of heat and operates in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, the Benelux and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Business Division Renewables is responsible for wind power and biomass. Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in six countries, onshore and offshore. Investment in biomass fuel is key to further reduce the emissions. We have about 300 employees.
The controlling organization within Business Division Renewables (BDR) is centralized and working functionally with the four Business Units, Onshore- and Offshore Development, Generation and Biomass. The team for BDR consists of 15 controllers.
Business Division Renewables are in an exciting phase where we are growing. We offer a job in an international and open environment.
We are now looking for an Investment Controller to our Business unit Offshore, within Business Division Renewables.
Overall objectives are to create a business integrated and functioning controlling organization within Business Department Renewables, which works both operationally supporting the Business units as well as strategically supporting the Business Division Renewables.
Responsibilities and tasks
You will be responsible of supporting as well as steering and analyzing existing projects, new projects and the portfolio as such.
Your role also includes:
• Analyse the offshore projects making sure they are financially stable and value creative.
• Have a general overview of the whole offshore portfolio and supporting the portfolio progressing in the right way.
• Frequent dialogue and support to offshore commercial manager.
• Reporting progress and content of offshore portfolio to central and preparing documentation for investment decisions.
Qualifications
Required education is BSc- or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent education. You need to have experience of investment profitability calculations and investment controlling. We also require excellent Excel skills and good knowledge in English. Good knowledge in German is meritorious.
As a person we expect that you have a good numerical understanding. You should be self-propelled and structured. As we have a complex organisation with team members that are located in different countries you also need to have very good interpersonal skills.
