The objective of Group Insurance Department is to protect Volvo Car Group's operational, industrial and commercial risks against financial consequences of unforeseen large losses. It is also to ensure that insurable risks that can pose a serious threat to Volvo Car Group's industrial and commercial activities are treated in a uniform, controllable and consistent manner.
As an Insurance Coordinator you will be responsible for updating insurance values as well as handling and issuance of insurance policies and invoices.
Main responsibilities
• Continuously check premium flow/premium reconciliations
• Participate in enhancing reporting processes
• Follow up and analyse result of insurance placements
• Assisting and advising subsidiaries and other entities within the Volvo Car Group in insurance related matters
• Participating and running different projects in order to develop the new Group Insurance organisation
Required qualifications
• 5 years experience from working with international insurance programs
• Good knowledge in insurance in general
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Experience from working with international insurance programs is meritorious
• An asset would be excellent knowledge and proficiency in Excel as well as in PowerPoint
Personal qualities
• High integrity and good communication skills
• Ability to take own initiative and solve issues
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach
• Enjoy working in an environment in process of change
• Teamwork skills necessary for a small unit with global responsibility
