Do you want to energize your career by working in challenging customer projects with advanced power and electrical systems? Grid and Power Quality Solutions (GPQS) unit (former FACTS - Flexible AC Transmission Systems) is currently looking for an Installation Supervisor. Your responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the work of internal and external resources and equipment technical specialists during on-site installation/construction activities
Plan on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with Site Manager or Site Construction Manager including necessary local resources, equipment and milestones
Coordinate agreement between customer and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy
Serve as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations
Ensure detailed and up-to-date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the H&S plan
Ensure all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promote health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project
Ensure correct handling, storage and installation of Hitachi ABB Power Grids delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage
Manage the sub-contractors on site hired by Hitachi ABB Power Grids to ensure necessary quality and progress achieved to meet delivery date and agreed standards
Control project cost for the project site work, monitor actual spend against forecasts, and estimate final cost for the same
Ensure all documentation is modified and updated as necessary, the document handling
Your background
You have Bachelor's degree from Civil Work or Engineering in High Voltage
You have 5 years of experience working as a project manager or site manager for installation projects. Experience from international projects will be considered as advantage
Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as a plus
Willingness to travel worldwide 70% of time
High level of cultural sensitivity and a collaborative working style
You hold HSE on a high standard and act with integrity in following HSE rules and regulations. You are a role model for your colleagues and clients on site
