We are looking for you who have a passion for technology and who are able to take the lead in driving the Volvo Group Connected solution IT infrastructure architecture. Do you want to make a difference? Perfect! Then we would love you to join our team.
Main activities and responsibilities
You will be part of a team responsible of the infrastructure operation for our Connected Solutions. We work in close cooperation with our suppliers in designing a robust and a stable setup for our Customer within the Volvo Group.
Important elements of the position are the understanding of operations in a Linux and Java based environment and the Connectivity and Communication over Mobile Networks. Other skills that are of importance are network and network security area.

Who are you?
To be successful within this role we believe you have a good experience of working with firewalls, load balancers, a good knowledge in ITIL and experience in cost estimates vs. non-functional requirements. In addition to this we believe you have experience in designing and optimizing IT infrastructure based on business needs. Typical deliverables are: Physical views of solutions, network maps, proof of concepts, monitoring, technical guidelines and governance models.
We are looking for you who have a strong customer focus in combination with an analytical ability and a business oriented attitude. You need to be responsive and able to launch sometimes unclear requests. But most of all you have the drive to challenge us at Connected Solutions. Because we will challenge you.
